Westland Foundation and Carbone Restaurant recently awarded their first Culinary Arts scholarship to Carmela Bianca Mayoralgo.
The presentation held November 6 at Carbone Coal Fired Pizza, 680 St. Anne’s Road, marked the beginning of the Westland-Carbone scholarship, which is aimed at increasing inner-Winnipeg students’ enrolment in Red River College’s Culinary Arts program.
